What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They're used to remember things — that you're signed in, your theme preference, whether you've dismissed a notice — so the site works properly on your next visit.
What Guildly uses
We only set cookies and similar local storage that are strictly necessary for the service to work. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party analytics that profile you.
| Name | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|
sb-* | Supabase authentication session — keeps you signed in. | Session / 1 hour |
guildly-theme | Remembers your light/dark theme preference (localStorage, not a cookie). | Until cleared |
guildly-tips-dismissed | Remembers which onboarding tips you've dismissed (localStorage). | Until cleared |
guildly-cookie-notice | Remembers that you've dismissed the cookie banner (localStorage). | Until cleared |
Stripe (used for payments) and Supabase (used for authentication) may set their own technical cookies when you interact with their services. These are strictly necessary for payments and sign-in to work.
Your choices
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and forget your preferences, but the site will continue to work.
If we ever add non-essential cookies (like analytics), we'll ask for your consent before setting them and update this page.
